Allocation of sounds to functions

Hi All

New here and to the Desire.............

Hope someone can help, is it possible to allocate a ring tone to a particular function?


I wish to have install a mp3 'tune' I have to be used when a text message is delivered.

You'll need Handcent for different text tones...

Otherwise you can only have a generic 'nofitication tone'.
