Root Allow me to clarify something for everyone

I don't know who this randomtwit....err.....randomwit person is but what I can tell you is that all the files and info pertaining to LGNPST that were previously posted here were taken down on my own behalf and accord.

Nothing of what the person stated in his threads has any bearing on my actions and the files were removed days before they even posted.

Just don't want anyone to think I was broken down by LG or any other entity inside or outside of these forums.

I simply got tired of fielding questions from people that were doing it all wrong.

I'd personally recommend that the mods delete all three threads dealing with my methods of downgrading the M back to 2.2 as the files will not be back. Not by me at least.

Well Andy, you felt the need to clarify but from my perspective and personal opinion there was no need.

I happen to respect and value your input here and I'm quite sure I'm not alone.

Either way what's done is done and it was YOU'RE choice, not anyone else's and those of us who have been here even a short length of time know you and know that to be the case.

Andy,
Same here. You have been a big help to me and are a valuable member of this forum.

I sincerely hope all this B.S. does not deter you from participating in these forums as your help and input on numerous topics has been invaluable to me as well as plenty of others, I'm sure.

I personally found the guy's lack of logic hilarious.

"You are warned! This is warez, piracy, and chickenpox all combined. LG has been the demise of many forums!"

"Oh, that didn't work? Well how about this... The guy who pirated it wants it taken down so he can lock it and sell it back to you, OK?"

That software was HELPFUL. Thank you Andyo70!

That's too bad. I never used the method, but I saw you as being active here and making important contributions. I also think the Dio pic is epic.

Whatever the case, thank you for your work. I hope that you will consider making contributions again. I know that some of us can ask many questions; some of us are trying to learn. I don't know what everyone else's excuse is.

You've brightened many lives here, dude. I hope you'll do it again. Thank you.

andyo70, I just want to say thanks for your good natured contribution towards the "red-headed stepchild" that is 2.2.1. Finding the req. files during their shifting around was harder than the downgrade process. I am a new droid owner/user with no previous experience in Linux or whatever this thing is running, and was able to pull this off first run. All it took was a couple days of mulling over the entire root process, and everyones disasters, to make sure I understood it before I tried it. Anyways, in the spirit of your good nature, I will be devoting much of my free time to learning how all this "stuff" works and hopefully will be able to contribute something worthwhile toward the 2.2.1 community. Thanks again. We need more like you. Everywhere.

Andy, big props to you, I realized it was my lack of understanding that led to all my failures of rooting and otherwise, when I was methodical, and took my time, things went into place, and after proper registration of ms690.dll it all went smooth as glass, thanks for the good work, you, mike and team chicken eater, this has been a true learning experience for me, I have archived all of my log files if you wish to see...

Erik:)

Dunno what the problem was. Your instructions were pretty clear when followed STEP-BY-STEP...

Thanks for your contribution. Helped me out a bunch. :]
