Help Allshare hdmi dongle... A quick way to connect?

im considering buying the hdmi dongle. saw some vids on how it connects. Have to go to settings and then more settings then allshare cast the scan and connect. seems pretty simple. But im wondering once you do this once will it remember it or do you have to do this everytime?

just wondering once its all setup how much hassle it is to actually use it. Ideally id like a shortcut on homescreen that i can tap and then its going to tv. is this possible?

Guess therel be a shortcut or itl be auto once its paired.
So does one dongle go in the phone and another in the tv or does it have to be a smart tv?
Also, do you have to have a wifi router or is it independant? :beer:

it remembers ure phone once u connect you would need to go to settings to turn it of and on although there is a widget which lets u do it also. One thing to take care of is it does give issues with connection if ure not on a stock rom. I had quite a few issues and had to flash a stock modem to get it working.

its a simple small box that connects via hdmi to ure tv and need its own power connector u dont need a smart tv to use it. AFAIK it connects via wifidirect so i dont think u need the router. Will still check it out without connecting to my router and see if it works.

yup u dont need a wifi router it connects directly via wifi direct.

Just put a widget shortcut on your desktop to simplify the connection process, once you're paired.
One tap on the widget & you're connected.
