Help allshare Play Service Constantly Running

Can't you just disable it? In ICS you can disable apps in the App Manager.

I disabled all the AT&T crapware but haven't hit Allshare (yet). I might do so now that you reminded me of it. That said, it's not as if my GS3 is choking on it or being laggy or anything........

Forcing stop & disabling are 2 different things. Do this : Settings > Application manager > All > Allshare Service > Disable

Is this how you shut the app down so it doesn't send all your pics to your computer? I just wanted to take a few pictures, send them via text, but not have them back up to the computer. Is that possible?

The best for this would be to turn off sharing at the PC instead of the phone.
