Root Ally development request?

After the release of zero and i stableize it, i have a few projects lined up for the ally as requested.
*PMP rom
*Stable gingerbread(working wifi or 3g/2g) "Overstock upgrade"
*stableize gretel
*continue Bionic
*new kernel
*ICS project?

Ofcourse theres small things that i see in other roms id like to get working as well
*new framework (new lockscreen, touch panels, ui?)
*system standby charging (phone shuts off for charging)

Now on to u guys... whether your ally is active or not. Lets start throwen in ideas here for us to think about and aim for. Ive started the list now you continue it. Whether its a universal rom app, a feature from another phone or a new ui, or port. Suggest your ideas here. Anythings possible, just gotta set your mind to it.

Pmp would be nice for my ally, if I can find it. Lol
 
I just like seeing development continue. Gb would be cool. Miui port maybe? It's been fun watchin the ally progress and despite having upgraded to a droid2 (wich took a swim with me and drowned sending me back to using the ally) and now I have a rezound, I still love the ally for the incredible community we have here. I continue to watch and try all that our generous devs produce. U guys deserve more than u get for what u do for this underdog of a phone. Keep up the great work. :) and thank u.
 
continuing the bionic would sound nice but also the ics project sounds very interesting i would like to see how the ally would stack up agaist it.
 
I dont promise an ics build, but i would try it. Im seeing alot of devices get an ics build on xda but their running into problems like no bluetooth, gps, proximinity, touch screen, wifi, ect. I guess it just depends on how we build it i guess but i wanna give it a try. I read an article from google mentioning that they wanted devs goals to focus on ics so that all previous devices may see the operating system as its capadible with all devices. But again no promises.
Im gonna try for another build of gingerbread for sure but focus on a stock build instead this time.
 
just wondering is there any way that you can change the home screen so you can change the music from there. kind of like an ipod. its kind of annoying having to go through all that just to change one song.

Invest in a lockscreen replacement app like WidgetLocker. It does what you want and more
 
all i want is a different theme. im getting annoyed of looking at the same type of theme. something more drastic than changing the theme with adw or launcherpro
 
to be honest a working gingerbread would be great, doesnt it have some features that will help save some ram so the ally wont have much lag?
 
I would like a stable working gingerbread release. Cm7 would be nice, but I believe gingerbread is more important first before we voyage to cm7. My personal opinion
 
hey i looked into the project gretel thing and the bionic one. and i must say that those look like some great projects. and if somehow they could get finished(if possible) that would be really nice, it would also give the ally a boost in life since people would like to use it more. i know that if i had one of those i would look at my ally just for the eye candy... (which is what ima do when zer0 comes out lol)
