I got my Froyo update Friday and I've been playing with it ever since. After upgrading (from LG) and Factory Resetting my phone, things were OK. But now there are a few things that are/aren't working that seem to be bothering me..
My sole purpose is not to complain but to see if anyone else has these problems. Are some of these "normal" with other Ally users that just recently received Froyo? Some input from other users would be awesome. And even if you don't have the same problems as mine, care to post yours here just to share your problems (and possibly rant??
).
- All my tasks seem immune to my task killers (Automatic Task Killer and Advanced Task Killer). I have my Browser and Facebook set to be killed, and they are "killed," but still resume where they left off -- did not normally store where they were previous to the killing of that task.
- My Facebook App keeps giving me notifications AFTER I went into the app and disabled the Notifications (I turned the refresh rate to Never and also unchecked all the notifications BEFORE I disabled notifications).
- My phone seems to lose contact with servers sometimes and needs to reboot to regain service. I've noticed this once yesterday and once today.
- When I plugged my phone in, my LED light did not turn on, but my phone said it was charging. I do not have any apps that mess with the LED Light, so I don't understand what's going on. I ended up making a phone call to my home phone and then it turned back on.
- I keep seeing "x Messages" on my Lock Screen. It irritates me to where I have to create a Shortcut on my phone (I use LauncherPro and Hide stock Messaging) to Messaging so I can go through the messages on there. I use GOSMS. ((I ended up using a password lock screen so it would temp. get rid of the unread messages prompt)).
