Help Ally keeps turning off and won't turn back on

I updated to 2.2 when it came out, bought an extended battery from Verizon and got a new class 6 SD card. Everything has been working great until yesterday. The phone will randomly turn off and the power button won't turn it back on. I have to take the battery out and put it back in for it to start up. It does this with a full charge. Also last night for about 10 minutes a warning popped up saying my SD card is damaged and suggested to reformat. I didn't do anything and the warning went away, but it still shuts off randomly. What could this be? I've had 2.2, the extended battery and the SD card for weeks with no issues until yesterday.

SD Cards do get corrupted. I would try to backup the sd card to your PC and reformat the card or swap it with another. See if that resolves the issue.

I would do exactly as netizenmt said. A corrupt file on an SD card can also corrupt the entire OS. I've even had this happen to Windows before.
