Hi all,

just joined after finding this forum Googling for new and stronger batteries for my Sprint HTC Hero. I live on the Island of Oahu in the state of Hawaii, and am in Kailua, a nice beach town on the windward side of the island.

Make my living as a finish carpenter, but would rather make my living full-time doing what I love most - playing my bass guitar in bands around Oahu. I play in various Blues and Rock bands, and have a great time doing it!

I'm glad I've found this forum, which has already helped me find a solution to the battery-drain problem inherent with these phones, and its OS.

Thanks, I'm already using the tips and tricks from the HTC Hero threads, and this is a great way to learn more about the phone, apps, cases, and the upcoming 2.0 release, that will hopefully fix the battery drain problem!

I'm actually heading out there on Friday on wa ho'omaha for 2 weeks. Can't wait to have the opae on the North Shore.

Mahalo Kawika, I hope you get fo'eat plenny kine shrimps l'dat on yo vacation brah! Hopefully by the time you get here, the vog and humidity will have gone away, and it won't be too hot!:D

I'm actually looking forward for it to be hot. This fall/semi winter weather here in NYC is creeping in. Vog? You mean Oahu is getting that too? I expected just the Big Isle. Either way it can't be as bas as sitting behind a NYC taxi. lol

Ian, I am having an issue unlocking my android gophone. (sony ercisson experia play). I live in Kailua. Since you are android familiar, I thought I might get some information from you. thanks, Steven
