I hope one day your right. Actually im lovin the phone. Would be nice with a nice custom oc kernel and roms. But i think people are skipping this mostly due to the locked bootloader which i dont know why lg started doing this!!! But maybe the guys who unlocked it on lg optimus g will take a stab at f7
 
well i setup a repo @ https://github.com/rbheromax/f7-kernel
i forked GT's kernel source and added somethings (cpu govs, block sched, OC)
idk if it works because i dont own an f7, but from experience with the krait platform, im sure its right-ish. hehe :P (it'll OC but kill the shiz outta ur battery life)
some dev like GT will actually have to spend hours trying to find the lowest voltages one day just to save on battery as I dont own the phone and cant test over and over all day.

maybe game can take this and tweak it some???
 
if he's up for it. He is better at this game than me. If i had time to maintain all the devices i help out on, i would be glad to pick this phone up, but thats not the case....
 
thats aboot, can i get boot too?

can be ran in terminal emulator or over adb

the slash may have killed the command
but this should dump it
its one command and u must be su (#) first

you may need to be on a full stock rom since i never edited ramdisk to do whatever GT did to allow removal of apps (if anything was done at all o.O )
 
Well here is my story. I flashed kernel booted fine. but when reboot phone freezes on black screen. have to do battery pull. but on second or third reboot phone willfreeze on black screen. looked promising tho
