Help Already on 5 days battery life, do i need juice defender

Hi

I disabled wireless, blue tooth, all auto updates and application syncs as I do not use any of these features. I also removed all widgets including bookmarks and weather.

I rarely browse the net on my phone and when I do need to I manually switch on / off the 3g connection by holding down the power button, I'm quite happy with doing this.

My phone is currently lasting 4 - 5 days with around 20 mins of calls a day, I'm in a poor signal area so others may get even more. Before I did all of this i was only getting 1 day.

My question is if I'm already controlling the 3G connection manually will juice defender provide any extra saving for me or should I not bother downloading it? Does juice defender do anything else apart from controlling 3g, bluetooth, wireless?

5 days? Is that a record.

Sorry, I can't answer your Juice Defender question but...5 days!

I'm confident that people in areas of good reception who copy my settings will get even more than 5 days as I get bad reception here ;-)

Oh, the most I've achieved with the low usage was 3 days (some calls, browsing and media play).

Ive never even tried for 2 days. Not bothered really, I charge nightly.

No juice defender cant bring anything to the table if you're already controlling it manually and happy to do anything.

5 days? U must be having extra large 5000+ mAh battery. I always charge overnight but im sure mine cant go more than 2 days.
