Root Alternate way to get your phone in DOWN LOAD mode

I couldnt get my phone to go into down load mode no matter what buttons i pushed or pulled battery or not. it just wouldnt go into down load mode.

THIS is a fix for it:

Go to market and down load a terminal emulator. A free one is just fine.
Open the terminal emulator and type & enter:

su

then type & enter:

reboot download


THATS IT !

it will look like this:

#reboot download

how was your phone not going into download mode? i would assume 3 button recovery is broken as well then

something i flashed prevented it. i tried several times but it just didnt work.
I just thought i would help the new guys not panic.

i wasnt questioning that...i was just asking what you did to break download mode
