Help Always discoverable?

Hello

I got the HTC desire and for my work i have to connect to a lot of different Bluetooth devices, And I would like to know if there is some way to make my devise always discoverable. I know that once your paired it will automatically pair again. But because I need to connect to a lot of different devices </SPAN></SPAN>that is not a option.

Fairly sure this is an Android hard-coded limitation.

If you're happy to root, there's a bit of stuff around the net about people hacking Cyanogenmod ROMs, that may be your only option.

any headway on this? i hate this 120 second discoverable nonsense. im in and out of the car all day!!!

Don't think I've ever known a bluetooth device to stay discoverable permanently or even automatically discoverable.
For one security reasons and for another your battery will die very fast.
As you said in the original post.

Good luck finding something though.
