Turning always on mobile data off has saved my battery crazy hours of life each day. The only trouble is there are certain apps that I actually want to be able to access data (GPS specifically) even when the screen is off. Is there anything out there that allows you to customize what apps have access?
For instance, I don't want my mail pushing (this one was a major suspect in battery death), widget updates, etc while the screen is off . I DO want Locale to know where I am even if the screen is off though.
Any way to do that?
