Help Always On Mobile Data

i don't see anyone talking about the clock, but my clock will roll back an hour for a few seconds and then it will correct itself. i have the always on data unchecked. would this feature effect the clock? i was about to call Sprint, but ill wait for your responses.

Yeah I pay the $10 for the phone plus I'm on the unlimited data family plan. So that means I'm good right? No worries for me or my wife's Optimus S?

Yep, I do believe you're good to go.

I went to the site to do a chat with them to clarify if they've made any hidden changes to the roaming plan - and can't find the chat option anymore.

Those settings are strange, they're not found in any other Sprint Android right now. The wording of them would lead me to believe that they shut off all voice and data, but that's not the case. It appears they may also be for roaming, but then the settings would be redundant to the guard settings in the menu just above.

Check pages 176~177 of the user's guide. The idea is these provide individual message dialogs warning you - so you can avoid or accept roaming use.

The Evo 4G had some clock problems too in some cases. If you search around you should be able to find this documented there somewhere. Anyways, if my memory serves me, Go to Menu -> Settings -> Date and Time -> and un-check Automatic. Then manually set your time to whatever it actually is. Now you are the timekeeper and it will not gather the time from satellites, signal towers, or internet. It should not have a problem after that, I do believe. Unless there is some other time zone issue or software conflict like from the weather application and GPS.

@EarlyMon, i live in louisville ky but i dont think that should be close enough to be effected by any time zones.

@PyroSporker, i did see this problem with my EVO 4G. seems like it happened right after GB update. i do work with other EVO 4G owners and they experience the same problem.
