Am I bricked?

booing

Lurker
Using an androidcentral post, I put on stock V9 recovery on while I had CM9 alpha 16 by the kraven. I didn't know what V9 is, but I did it anyway, stupidly. Now, I can't boot into recovery, emergency, normal or anything... PLEASE help!

You probably can, you just can't see it. Try this out:

androidscreencast - Desktop app to control an android device remotely - Google Project Hosting

It'll allow you to "see" what's on your screen.

The "newer" OptiS's have a different screen and the zv9 recovery/rom doesn't have a driver for it. If you can see with screencast, then you should then be able to flash zvd and re-root.

If it doesn't work, then you're for real and truly screwed.

Not true.. there are other ways to unbrick. I have the Optimus S .bin file in my computer right now. But there's still the KP500 tool, which I would use first to try to unbrick.
