Root am i ready to install a rom

Ok so I rooted my op V using Gingerbreak. Which came with super uset. I in stalled rom manager. By clock work mod. It prompted me to make a back up by selecting my device so I selected lge optimtism v. So am I ok to install a Tom now or did I do something wrong?
 
Dont use Rom manager it's not compatible with your phone's screen you will get black screen. Go to the thread backside Rom and green machine. Get the recovery there that says for newer phone and the backside Rom if that's the one you want. Then you'll need to install the new recovery then makes backup of your current system then flash the Rom using the directions.

Thank you between doing services and getting setup for a production of lion king I've been extremely busy but wanted to catch this before they proceeded and got black screen.
 
Did you notice my tutorial post is in a thread that sort of screams out something of a reminder every time I post a link to a new member. Kinda cool don't ya think?
