Am I the only one with a corrupt Compass driver or something?

So I'm pretty sure this is not a hardware issue...

If I hard-reset my phone, the compass will work flawlessly for about 3-5 days. After that it fails to function. It stays locked in one position and if it does move it is VERY sparatic.

This has been tested with multiple compass apps as well as any of the "augmented" reality apps (sky maps, Layer, etc)

This has happened with both COMPLETELY factory un-rooted phone as well as now that I'm rooted running Madoco Unofficial 1.2c.

If I do a hard reset it works fine. Its not any particular app doing it either. I've tested that theory.

Oh this is also BOTH before and after the MR release.

You live anywhere near the Bermuda Triangle?

Haha... just kidding... but lost as to why you have this problem. You might want to think about switching out the unit if this is a critical function for you, as a last resort.
