I'm new here and i am thinking of rooting my 3 month old Galaxy S2. After long reading and considering i want to take this step to fully own my phone.
Now the only thing that botters me is the fact that my flash counter will be changing and unfortunately i am not able to find an USB-jig in my surroundings.
I came across an app from Chainfire which can reset the counter if i use an ICS rom. Do any of you have used this method?
I am running 2.3.6 and my kernel is 19100XWKK2, is it possible to update to an ICS rom and if so which one do you guys recommend?
