Amazon App Store and battery

Hey guys... Ever since I downloaded the Amazon App Store my battery has been dying so much faster... I'm wondering if anyone has had this same experience too. I've currently shut down the app in the running applications section and it seems to be running at a normal pace now.

I don't think it would be the culprit for your battery issues, but hey, nothing would really surprise me. I downloaded it at launch and haven't noticed any battery issues.

Yeah not sure either... in fact I just stopped GPS and of course that is affecting battery life... probably much more significantly.

I'm pretty sure that leaving GPS on will have very little effect on your battery unless there is an app running that is constantly using it. (Say like Maps or Navigation.)
