Help Amazon Appstore Downloads VERY SLOW

After downloading the update for the Amazon Appstore over a week ago, I've noticed the app has become very sluggish. Downloads are much slower than before and it takes a longer time for items and info to appear. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix? I'm not noticing any performance problems in anything else.

Welcome to Android Forums igotadroid (great username BTW).

I have noticed Amazon being sluggish of late as well, but it started before the update. I'm making an educated guess that with the holiday season all of Amazon's infrastructure is probably under a bit of duress.
