Amazon firestick vs. Nvidia Shield for TV streaming

Has anyone used either for TV streaming?
Currently I've been using the Amazon firestick on my TVs and ordered the nvidia shield to see the difference. After a day of using it, I'm really not impressed with the nvidia shield being any better than the Amazon firestick.
Not to mention the price, $150 for the nvidia shield, vs $24 for the Amazon firestick.
To make a long story short, I'm returning the nvidia shield and saving my money.

Nah man, too broke :)
 
can't say, i use Google's Chromecast and i love it. i love the fact the remote that comes with the latest Chromecast. the bummer part is that the Chromecast is now the Google TV Streamer. so it is more of a box than a dongle now. it is also way more expensive.

i am tempted to try it out.....just need to figure out where to put the device.
 
The nvidia shield Is linked to your Gmail account, which will work with your Chromecast.
It also uses the play store and all of its apps that you can install on it. Amazon offers free 30 days returns....
