so, I'm sure with the Bionic screen being so large, I'm probably among many people who use the Amazon Kindle App. I experienced something rather annoying but fixable I just thought I would share with my fellow bionic pals.
I recently got a message while trying to download a purchased book to my HTC Evo View that I had already downloaded awhile back on my Bionic that told me that this particular book has been downloaded to too many devices, and that I should de-register it from another device or purchase another copy of the license. Since I only own two devices, I thought this was rather strange and un called for.
Long story short, I soon realized that every time I installed a new ROM on my incredible, and now my bionic, it registered the device as a whole new device on Amazon. So, even though I've only owned a total of 4 android devices in my life, and currently only own 2, I was up to my 14th device on amazon. It was a simple fix, I went to amazon.com, went to the help section, clicked on manage my kindle, clicked manage my devices, and deregistered all 14 of my devices one by one. I then uninstalled the amazon apps on my two devices, rebooted them (just for good measure) and re installed the apps. All is well.
just thought I'd share that with any other bionic kindle users.
