Help Amazon MP3

So my gf uses Amazon MP3 to purchase music for her EVO. All of the mp3s she had purchased were saved to her sd card in a folder named /amazonmp3.
Somehow all of her music is now gone. Recently we flashed a few ROMs but we never touched her sd card. All her other media on the card are still there except the mp3s from Amazon. Does removing the Amazon MP3 remove the downloaded purchased media also? Any ideas? TIA

From my experience with apps, it really shouldn't affect folders on your SD card. I have, personally, never used AmazonMP3 but I assure you that many of my apps save stuff to the SD card and even after an uninstall, the files are still on my device. Which reminds me...I should go back and delete some more I found.

Try using something like Astro or ES File Viewer to look at the files located on the SD card and see if you can find them. Or hook the device to your computer and search for the files. Such as in Windows, try searching the SD card for some of the songs like "SoundGarden", etc. or song names or just "Amazon" and see what results you get.

There may be an option to redownload from AmazonMP3 or maybe even Amazon's website if you have the old sign-in you and her used to purchase those files.
