There's no protection on the top nor bottom part... A little protection is better then no protection.

the cut makes accessing the power button and volume buttons odd because there is a ridge from the case right next to them.

tpu is barely any thicker and 1. more stylish and 2. offers more protection

I don't use mine at all. I feel it was cheaply made. I can't recommend this one.

I dont have this exact one, but another version (probably the orgianly version) made by cate mate "barely there" style. I love it. My fav out of all 6 cases I hate at this moment.

fits perfectly with device and protects well. Moreover how much you can expect from a case?

You can expect the button operation not be interfered with and the camera not sit flush with the case...
