An extraordinary amount of bloatware

Is it just me or is this thing overloaded with bloatware? Personally, I cant wait until there is a root to get this sh*t off.

Seriously, I dont watch the NFL, so why would I want an app for it on my new phone? same could be said for about 15 other apps....

I don't think it's any more than what else is available on other phones. They're all loaded down with apps. Just wish they gave us the option to get rid of them.

Considering Verizon is a sponsor for the NFL, I get why that's there. I imagine the devs of the other apps have similar reasons for being there.

Yep, I went through all of them and the only one I could uninstall was Lets Golf 2.
Also, really can't wait for root (and a stable recovery).

There is a large amount of bloatware and prepackaged software that shipped with the phone. Oh well :\

I did not purchase the Bionic after playing with it in the store for a while (not because I did not like it.. would have voted "10" in that poll thread about it), but I found no slowdowns or other issues that would have been caused by the included stock apps and services running.

I even ran a video for a while, then brought up Maps and Messaging right away (could not message, of course), then, without backing out of anything running, did a voice search. The thing ran snappy and clear/quick through it all (thus my "10" as a rating thoughts).

Monster, oh yes. Decided to hold off at the last minute, though, because my D3 is fine for me as I wait to play with the Prime.

I haven't noticed any issues with it either. I just put it in a AppFolder and hid it all.

I just got my Bionic this morning. Had the original Droid prior and Palm phones before that. But I am in now way a techie/phone expert.
I was browsing here looking for how to get rid of all these unwanted apps- and found this thread.

I'm kinda new at this- just how do you make an AppFolder? (It's probably fairly obvious, but my brain hurts (in a good way!) after playing with this phone all day.

Thanks. :)

You would think since either Moto or VZW put those unwanted apps on the phone that one can go to them and ask to have em removed.
