Hey everyone. My name's John, and I'm an EMT in Louisiana. I'm something of a technology geek (not as much in the last couple of years as previously, so some of my knowledge is out of date), and I enjoy learning about pretty much anything, though my main interests lie in medicine, physics, psychology, and interesting music that annoys the people I know while I rock on. :cool:

After settling on an Android phone to replace my aging Samsung u520, I started reading these forums to get information on my various options. A few weeks ago I got an Eris through Best Buy, but yesterday returned it and got a Droid instead.

I tend not to be extremely active on forums, but hopefully over time I'll find a few things to contribute as I learn more about this device and platform.

Also, if you asked a question here, after SEARCHING for your solution, post it in an appropriate forum, and it will get answered. Questions in the introduction forum don't get answered, generally.
