Help Analog clock widget...?

I am using the analog clock widget that came on the Optimus phone. not sure if this is part of the Android OS or something that LG put on there. Nonetheless, I find it useful because it has an alarm function. The one thing I"m having an issue with is the clock is so UGLY. I spent the last several minutes searching in the settings for a different choice. I would think there would be more than one choice for how the clock can look.

there also is a confusing cycle/toggle between the analog clock, the alarm list, and then a digital clock that resembles your home page with a photo slideshow at the bottom. not sure what that is all about or why anyone would use it.

i know there are probably a lot of other clock/alarm widgets out there and maybe that's what I should do. but I usually try to use something that came with the phone first....

so i'm wondering has anyone figured out how to change what the clock looks like, or is that the only choice?

Nope, that is your only choice with stock. If you want something different, you'll have to look in the market.

You're right-- it is ugly.Real ugly!!
I prefer an anolog clock, but I had to replace that one. I have had Analog Clock Collection by SMS Robot. There's thirty two different ones to pick from. Some of them replace ugly with bizarre--
If i want modern art ... I'll buy a painting. For telling time I prefer clocks that look like clocks. I was getting nervous, but thirty one was good, and thirty two made the cut.



But...since you were asking about clocks, I went back to the market and discovered Animated Analog Clock Widget by DNS Project-- which have second hands-- just like clocks!! A couple different add on packs dor different clocks ( all free, and supposed to work with whatever launcher you have)

I suppose every time the clock ticks my battery life goes down-- but unless it's drastic, I like having the second hand.
