I am one of those bored people. No go in Pennsylvania.
But it's probably only because of our drinking water. The high iron content in our water probably is causing some sort of magnetic field around my body and blocking the OTA. I could be wrong though...it's probably the chlorine.
You missed the point of this post.
When 2.0.1 rolled out there were so many people complaining that the download hadn't started in their state it was hilarious. My expectations are that the current rollout will be anticlimactic with sholes already distributing more functionality, but people will still reply and complain. I've been rooted for quite a while now.
So im pretty sure there will be an update tomorow because on the leaked memo about the dec11 update stated jan22 as the day they would fix all the problems with the exchange servers weather or not this includes 2.1 I don't know but we can hope
would you let me know if it does fix the exchange problems?
I'm about fed up with the "Failed to create the account. Please try again later." error message / issue
I get all the way up ot the end setting Outlook up on the Eris and then get the try again later message. Do you have an idea on how to remedy? maybe the update???

Simple solution...Don't read threads with 2.1 in the title. Some of us are really looking forward to it for no other reason than we like new stuff. We also enjoy discussing any little morsel that comes about, so deal with it...No need to be rude..

Unless you changed the filed named otacerts.zip, you will get notified of the update.
But what if he has installed a custom rom which renamed otacerts.zip?

come on 2.1 you want us just as bad as we want you lets get it over with so we can all go on for about three months enjoying 2.1 and then want another update and we will all be back on here again trying to wait patiently and discussing that update and i hope no one thinks im being cause im not

Oh, i read somewhere that the iPhone may get flash but it wont be from Adobe. i cant remember where, wish i could lol
It's now January 22 and I haven't received the update yet in Michigan, What about every one else?
(It's been a long day and I just need a laugh by seeing how many will complain. I'M easily amused)
Now I'M bummed because the server time wasn't synced to the network and although my phone said 12:00, the message is stamped 11:59.Hopefully this issue is fixed in 2.1...

If anyone is savvy enough to install a custom ROM, I sure hope they would've read the specs/details of that ROM. Most of the ROMs out there don't disable OTA updates.
