Android 2.2 better email management?

Hi All,

probably my only complaint so far with the Evo is the email client (and battery life but that's a different subject). The email is bad compared to the Treo's I have had and the iPhone 3GS.

Is 2.2 going to have better email?

PS I am currently using K-9 but it has it's drawbacks as well. Any other email clients out there?

Right now K-9 seems to be the best answer to the issues with the stock client... Hopefully, K-9 will get better and better with each release (which are available on the google code site well before the market releases) and the integration will be complete with it soon.

There are still some features that Handcent and K-9 fall short on, even though they are much better than the stock apps.
