Android 2.2 for original droid

I am very confused. I have seen post where people with the original Droid have received the over the air android 2.2 software. Has Verizon started to release this OTA or are people just fooling around?

I received the 2.2 OTA this morning, but my wife has yet to get it. Thishappened last time withe the update from 2.01 to 2.1, and from 2.0 to 2.01. VZW simply releases they OTA updates in staggered waves. over a period of time. You'll get it soon enough.
 
I got my update this morning, so far I have found a few great features: under wireless and networks there is now a tethering button though i have not had a chance to use it yet, I dont even know if there is an extra charge to use it.

There are now 5 screens and there is no longer that annoying slide up screen, you just hit the expand button at the bottom of the screen.

My phone seems to run faster though I am still playing with it to make sure.

There is no flash player though I understand it is suposed to be released on aug 18.
