Android 2.2 FroYo and battery life

I'm guessing the drop in battery performance has more to do with apps written for 2.1 not working correctly in 2.2 over 2.2 battery issues.

Maybe try doing a hard reset and see what happens with out any 3rd party apps installed.

I think I notice a bit of improvement in battery life on my Evo 4G since the update.
