Help Android 2.2 Update Issue(make sure)...

I have a HTC Wildfire. I wanted to update it to Android 2.2 so I went to settings and allowed to download the update. But as soon as it restarted after downloading the updates it hanged so I removed the battery. After replacing battery it worked fine. I want to make sure that my phone is successfully updated to 2.2 . Please tell me how can I do so... (the software information is showing Version as Android 2.2.1 but apart from that currently there are no changes !!!)

there are only a few changes like the camera for one you can take a photo what ever way you hold it. you have tethering for the internet. i dont think the speed has increased at all though.
there are some other tweaks and stuff.

First of all, your phone probably didn't 'hang'. It just takes really long to reboot. Be patient. Secondly Ryanraven, the Froyo update really does much more :-)

Thanks a lot. But when it was rebooting i removed the battery...Now i dont know whether it contains all the updates. Can you please tell me all the changes i can see in it so that it becomes sure to me that my phone is totally upgraded to Froyo.

On your homescreen, press Menu, Settings, About phone, Software information. It should read Android Versio 2.2.1.
