Finally upgraded to 2.3.4 ..... but after upgrade when I connect to PC..... my phone is not showing Debugging mode...... can anybody help me to resolve this problem.....

NICE! i upgraded my 2.2 froyo to gingerbread safely thanks! at first i was really hesitant on upgrading my phone for fear of bricking it but im not regretting upgrading it.. im playing inotia and it laggs every 30 mins at froyo but not at gingerbread i could play till my battery runs out.... im having the few second delay on unlocking the phone but it doesnt matter phone performance rocks and i could live with a few second delay... im thinking that battery drains fast... just like on my first use of the ace, im observing it for some day gonna give a feedback about battery life later!

That is natural, debugging mode is on by default, just the icon does not show

There are more than 20 apps available in the market for sms backup and restore.
You can try any one..

hi i updated yesterday from froyo to GB trhough Kies.checked today too. only GB 2.3.3.bought the Ace from Singapore. is that why i get 2.3.3?.

btw: The stock rom gives a quadrant score of 1000+ with apps running in the background and about 180mb~ ram consumption !

Hmmm 1088 ?? 3 times done the benchmark and trhe results are near 600 2.3.3 German Stock rom from Kies !!! Any ideas about the big difference ??

I have problem. My problem is when I type a message, more than 1kb, it will change to multimedia message. Meaning that, I can not type a long message. So how can I change the settings so that when I type a long message, it will not be switch to a multimedia message.

Thats how things work A normal sms has that limit I suppose. Send various sms, 1 multimedia sms or send an email
