Android 2.3.6 for Galaxy S2?

Terrible newbie question here; I have searched briefly but haven't found an answer.

Is Android 2.3.6 available for the Galaxy S2? I'm still on 2.3.3 and am bored of waiting for OTA updates.

I've seen that there is a 2.3.5 ROM available here on these forums but don't see the point in upgrading to that now then 2.3.6 is out...

you obviously arent on vodafone, bcoz they released 2.3.5 a cuple of weeks ago. so if ur wanting it you will have to root ur phone.
as for 2.3.6, i havent heard anything about it as of yet.

2.3.6 was only released as an update for Nexus S 4G handsets.
