Help Android 2.3.6 Voice Recogniton problems

Hey ppl... Looking for some insight here. I have a Samsung Stratosphere I405 and I am having problems with the voice recognition overall. It seems that since the update to Android 2.3.6(in March 2013), that my voice recognition does not work properly. It worked great prior to the upgrade. Now I speak into it and my text message says something completely different. I also notice that my bluetooth voice command in my car will not work anymore... most likely because in runs through my phone recognition software. This is a major annoyance for me.... part of the reason I upgrade my trim package in my car was so that I could be hands free while driving!!
If anyone can help...I would be very appreciative!!

I assume you got this issue solved? If not, maybe a factory reset would help. I hear after system updates, a factory reset will help get the kinks out.
