Hi

Does anyone know if it's out yet ? or due out soon, i'm not willing to try myself after bricking my phone before ;)

I know it's out for the HTC
 
Depends how you define out. I've been using 2.3.4 for a while via Cyanogen. Official builds don't appear to be close.
 
Any working root apps for 2.2.2? cause i wanna use cyanogen but cannot change room cause none root apps works-.-
 
SuperOneClick works fine :)

Or if you look in the root forum you'll find a thread by me for recoveries, that wont leave you with root, but it will give you a custom recovery which you can install CM7 through.
 
Have there been any new updates on the release of the GB firmware upgrade for our 2X's? I know the American G2X got theirs over a week ago now...I heard something about a lawsuit with LG so that's why it was released on that phone first?

So if fall is the release date, when exactly is that? It will be in my spring seeing as I'm in the Southern Hemisphere, but it seems pretty vague to me...could mean anytime up to Christmas really...

On another note, the other day I received a firmware upgrade to V10e, from V10d. Is there supposed to be much of a difference between to two? My phone did seem to run a little quicker, but I may have been imagining things...
 
It's bug fixes.

GB is definitely in the works for the O2X, There is a leak of it over on MoDaCo if you fancy a butchers.

I'm on 2.3.5 with CM7 still though.

Yea i also had CM7 but i diddnt know how to install the GAPPS so i returned to the roiginal rom.
