DO NOT FLASH THIS ROM UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE AS IT MAY HAVE THE BRICK BUG

See, here for more details of this bug.

It looks as though the SGSII has not been forgotten on Android 4.0.4, LQ5, is now available for CSC code, "OXA", (Open Europe).

For details of CSC codes, see, here.

Not available via Kies yet as this is a leaked release.

Not advisable to flash this yet as it will void your warranty. However, it shouldn't be too long before an official release.

Roughly how long after a leak is te official out? (based on previous timescales of course!)

It depends on how good the leaked version is.

ICS leaks were coming thick and fast from Christmas until the first official release, LPQ, on the 13th March.

This leak for LQ5 appears to be reasonably OK and is for unbranded European phones. It could be that this time the unbranded handsets will receive the update, which isn't that big, (4.0.3 to 4.0.4), first. Then it will be up to the various service providers to decide if they want it and to add their bloatware and return it to Samsung for release. This could be anything up to 3 months, judging by ICS which is still releasing 4.0.3 although, as it is not a major platform change, as in the case of ICS, but merely an update, the whole procedure should be quicker.
