Android 4.1.2 Help

Just involuntary upgraded to 4.1.2 on my Motorola Electrify 2 and it seems like the upgrade was more like a downgrade. Lost several features which I have found valuable as a business user who switched from BB to android recently. Most notably is the loss of quick conference call settings in calendar. Could do it great before the "upgrade" can't do it at all now without adding another separate app. why remove this feature, along with others in this supposed upgrade?

Hello and welcome to Android Forums, greygoose! :)

Yes, we do sometimes see certain features added or subtracted from updates to the operating systems as they change and evolve (and come to our devices whether we like it or not :D).

3rd party apps from the Play Store is the answer for most users. For others it is rooting the device and making changes or adding system apps not reachable with an un-rooted, stock device.

We've not yet set up our Electrify 2 sub-forum area, so as soon as we do we'll have more info for you. Meanwhile, thank you for joining up! And I'm hoping you explore the Play Store for remedies.

Our Admin just set up the Electrify 2 sub-forum for us, greygoose. :)

Motorola Electrify 2 - Android Forums

Now when users out there are doing a search, they'll have that forum to land in and discuss issues, etc.

Notice that right above the main Electrify 2 general area is an "All Things Root" area. That'll grow into a community of rooting enthusiasts and experts as the days go by.

Thank you for coming to us! We'll gather and input info there, especially things Jelly Bean, 4.1.2 related, etc.
