Help Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) for SGS2 (VM)

Maybe this is wishful thinking on my part, but is there any chance that the Virgin Mobile version of the Samsung Galaxy S II will get the OFFICIAL (without rooting) update of Android's latest OS, Jelly Bean? I'm only asking this, because all other SGS2's around the world are slowly receiving (or in the process of receiving) JB updates, including some here in the US.

This will pretty much make or break my decision to switch from VM's HTC Evo V 4G to the 'GSII'.

I would believe so.
It's just a matter of time when the US carriers decide to roll out JB. One of the few reasons I envy Europeans.

There's always a "chance" but no one could know for sure especially when the decision is left to the carrier.

I read somewhere that there was a leaked Jelly Bean Rom specifically for Virgin Mobile, which implies that there is an update coming in the future. I'm sure as soon as Sprint gets it, Virgin will too.

Well, I guess it became official yesterday. Jelly Bean is finally available for Sprint's Galaxy S II. Hopefully, that means the Virgin Mobile version will get the update, as well. :)

Go to samsung.com then go to support/downloads. And using the dropdowns select your device, then go to downloads and you'll see the virgin mobile exe! just download that and it will give you the instructions.
