Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for Xoom

Update was pushed to my Xoom yesterday. I don't see any differences yet other than a few cosmetic things. Very satisfied with the support my Xoom is getting.

Well it is a Google device :) only the wifi version gets updates quicker than 3/4g version.

Got mine last dec,it came with HC & about 6 weeks ago ICS came out and i did the upgrade,DO I EVER WISH I NEVER DID THAT!!!!,we also use our XOOM as a hot spot for doing our KOA campgrounds companys books while traveling, she has campsite on her laptop along with a portable printer to print reports and after the ICS update the Hotspot feature goes to sleep everytime your not using the hotspot feature for say an hour EVEN set to "NEVER SHUT DOWN MODE" AND i can't just turn on the hotspot feature back on,i have to shut down the XOOM and do a reboot to get the hotspot feature back, with HC you could go to bed as an example and not use it all nite and in the morning it be ready to go,it would fire right back up no problem,Verizon has no answer, does anyone here have an idea????,would the JB upgrade address my issue????,i went and reactivated my verizon MiFi card so the wife can do her books in secure mode, anyone ..................

Not sure... I have wifi version, but maybe there's an app to fix it? Idk

I gotta say ICS breathed new life into my Wifi Xoom. Then Jelly Bean came and after it sorted itself out I am again very impressed. This old tablet can still hang with the best of them. I had a little buyer's remorse when it first came out but now I definitely do not regret getting it. Now another soak test went out again today for another update. I only wish Motorola and Google supported my terrible terrible Bionic like this. All in all this is light years ahead of Honeycomb.

Ive been waiting for ages now !!!!!!! and it still hasn't arrived on my motorola xoom , does anyone know when it will be in the uk ?
:smokingsomb:

Just got updated to 4.1.2. No idea what's new or fixed yet.

Supposedly some performance enhancements and landscape mode for 7" tablets. I know, I know, that means nothing to you Xoom folks, but its a pretty big deal for us N7 folks. BTW, I only check in here because you are the only other tablet folks with timely JB updates that I can compare notes with.

Got 4.1.2 today.
I have got to say I'm impressed with Motorola,I mean I bought my Xoom like 2 years ago or a little better, and this thing has gotten every update possible. What other company does that?
Very happy Xoom'er here.:D

not here. as a matter of fact, once the reboot of the update installed, i had some apps auto update themselves.

if you are having issues, post to the class what error messages you are getting if any. post up the apps you are having issues with and any troubleshooting steps you have done...
