Help Android 4.2 Multitasking UI Lag

When Android 4.2 came out, I complete wiped my phone (used CWM) and flashed a completely stock setup - system, boot, and radio, etc.

I've noticed that my battery life has taken a dump, but more troubling is the lag when closing apps in the multitasking bar. Swiping away apps shows a 2FPS animation.

The entire OS appears to be somewhat buggy - does anyone have the same issues?

I'm on FireB's stock ROM and have no lag issues. Also using Air Kernel r330

I'm on mmuzy's rom on a vzw gnex and have not experienced any lag worse than what it's been in the past. For the most part the phone has been much smoother and had much less lag than before.

When you wiped clean, you formatted the system partition?

Yes. I used CWM and TWRP to redundantly wipe everything.
