Help android 4.3 problems

After I installed android 4.3 my phone freezes randomly like just now for like 6 seconds and pauses no matter what you are doing for a few seconds it gets really annoying like when im typing it suddenly freezes or when im watching a YouTube video it will just freeze up, it was fine when I used android 4.2 but ever since I installed it it freezes randomly its sooo annoying! How can I fix it? I don't want to loose any contacts or have to transfer everything over but I have to if its the only alternative :( I went to the phone shop and they told me to ahh its happened again! They told me to transfer everything over and reinstall android 4.3 but how? And also they said I should reinstall android 4.2 until a new update comes out and fixes the problems in android 4.3 but whens that going to be? I like some of the improvments in 4.3.
 
Hello and welcome to the forums . I see your having a problem with your android device after the 4.3 update. Can i ask did you do a reset to the device .
 
Its the normal phone im not sure if its modded or not but I installed the android 4.3 from the inbuilt software update area on the phone so I think its original.
 
Haven't watched that video but an easy way is to open settings, tap on the general tab, then choose backup and reset. You'll have some other options from there as well. HTH
 
If installing 4.3 is an update/upgrade for NOT ROOTED phones, why is it necessary to perform a "hard reset" which wipes phone and data to restore phone to original factory settings? I understand to need on rooted phones - where there is a nandroid to restore the phones' settings, apps and data, but there is no equivalent for NOT Rooted phones. Do Samsung and the carriers want owners to root there phones to have nandroid capability? The fact that so many people require factory resets following this "update?" de facto suggests that they are advocating and promoting the rooting of the Galaxy S4s!

That is correct but if you see where the update is presented . They say that's the only way to repair the problem . So in street terms the 4.3 is a screwed up deal . But we all know that nothing is made perfect at first but in due time will be fixed to perform at its best . I found out from a girl at my job said her phone is a piece of s**t since this 4.3 update . So she showed us where she got it and in the small print it said to reset and it fixed her up nice and i got FREE LUNCH.:D:eek::thumbup:
