Help Android 4.4

Are you in favour of an update

From what I've been reading about people running the leak, the mashed potatoes I had for dinner tonight were more exciting. My Note 3 is fast enough, I still have almost 23GB of free internal storage, I don't use touched whiz, so all I get is a cookie and I'm diabetic.

Where's the "yawn" button, again?

Besides, after what 4.3 did to the S3? After you guys play with it for 3 or 4 months, and I don't hear any screaming, maybe I'll risk the OTA. IF someone's come out with Safestrap (or aliens come down and give us an unlocked bootloader) for the 900A by then.
 
Thanks for the information that 4.4 will be available for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition.

My tablet is wifi only bought from UK.

when I go to settings to update I get result No update available.

I'm happy with the update that's on my Note 3 and am looking forward to seeing it on this this tablet as well. There are no world shattering improvements, it's just small things here and there.
 
I had no substantive preformance changes when my Note 3 was updated. I lost the convenience of easy access to the card.
 
I'm curious. Has anyone read or heard anything about when Samsung will deploy KitKat to our Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition tablets?

I'm really anxious to see if this update will resolve some of the stuttering issues our powerful tablets are known for (thanks TouchWiz).

I'm a Samsung Rep and I haven't heard anything yet, I check my Note 2014 everyday. I got me a Tab Pro 8.4 today and I love it, definitely need 4.4.2 on the Note 2014.

Taj, thank you very much. I had to laugh at the fact that you check your Note 2014 everyday for the update, because I do the same thing. I mean, everyday! LOL!

Since you are a Samsung rep, please keep me posted and let me know if you hear anything. I love my tablet, but i'm really hoping that update makes some much needed corrections for it.

Your welcome, lol and yes you have to check ever day...and I can't wait til it get some of the features that the pros have.

And I will keep you posted as soon as I know. :)
 
What exactly is updated in 4.4.2? Also I use a launcher so would Kit Kat even benefit me?
 
Also waiting for the update of P605. Although not heard anything yet for any update for Europe(UK) on any version WIFI or 4G.

Don't know of a full list of changes, but I believe that:

The Multi window fly-out strip is now better and now 2 icons wide.
The Pen Window allows you to use all the apps that can be used in Multi window.
There is camera app shortcut on the lock screen.
The Notification Panel has been re-designed.
The Wake up lag and unlock lag have been addressed and removed.
Improvements to the battery
Improvements to S Note, take a picture and add to a drawn frame, and button to zoom into annotating.
Improvements to Scrapbook app.
Task Manager has been revised.
General bug fixes.
Also the Notification bar is now white.

I for one can't wait, and check my table everyday...but nothing yet:(
 
Got it this morning. Three things I've noticed so far. 1 it is much snappier 2 the multi window button is no longer there. You have to swipe from the side. 3 the lock screen looks different
 
I installed Samsung kies for android on my pc. Then connected my note, then the update installed fine.
Now the update unrooted the device. So have to find a solution for that :-)
