Android 5.1

There was only one thing that was bad for me on my Nexus 4 and that was the random freezes or Screens of Death as people call it. I was running an app called "Safe Charge" on manual which stopped all that nonsense with my phone freezing or going blank or what seemed like shutting down. Now with that said I put in 5.1 from 5.0.1 and I uninstalled Safe Charge for the moment to see if the Nexus 4 was still acting up. So far so good. No freeze or shutdown for the night when leaving my phone alone and on. Would anyone here know if this upgrade to 5.1 had any kind of fix for the freezes or screens of death? There was no changelog from developers or Google yesterday when I downloaded and installed the 5.1.

Mine has the nasty little habit of shutting itself off, from time to time. I hope they have fixed that.

Even if this is the final update for the Nexus 4, I will keep mine until it quits. They really have gone nuts with the high prices of the successors.
