Help Android and email attachments

Why can`t we attach any given file allong with email message..?

Looking into this one further. You can always use the browser and do it that way your just clicking on the email/gmail icon in the apps drawer right?

It is a solution, but we all know it`s not how it should work on platform with such possibilities.. Android market full of apps and not even one, proper email client.. Rubbish.
