I am looking for an android tablet for my son. He wanted the iPad and I told him where to go (politely).

I have been looking at the Disgo 6000 Tablet, but get confussed with the amount of reviews available some say it is good and others seem to be compareing it with the ipad which then gives it a really bad review ( well what do you expect for

You are not going to get much tablet at all for the price you're wanting to pay. Whatever you buy in that price range will be clunky, underpowered and buggy and those will be the high points of the experience.

Thanks for the info. I might hold out until my phone is up for renewal then see about a phone/tablet combo. Might see about the HTC flyer.

I've been doing some research as I am also in the market for a tablet. If the price is what you are concerned with, you may want to look at the Asus Eee Pad. It is less expensive than the iPad. It only has WiFi, though. I don't think it is as low as 100 pounds, though.

Good call. I think I might have to do a bit of research as I might get something to replace my laptop aswell as being portable.
