Help Android browser turning grey?

Lately with more and more frequency the stock browser on my X turns gray. This happens when I click links from within an app, and sometimes when I click bookmarks. I'm not sure what's doing it exactly but it could be related to data interruption? Usually I will switch off the wifi and just use 3G but it has been doing it over 3G as well. Only solution is to reboot the phone which is annoying. Any thoughts?

If this is what I think I experienced the other day, just open up a new window then close the window that stalled and turned gray.

Download an App called "Fast Reboot" and use that.

It simulates a reboot and fixes like 95% of problems in a tenth of the time rebooting takes. Hopefuly FROYO will fix this for you, until then maybe the app will help you out.
