Hey guys just wanted to get a new discussion up and running since my boy mike28 was wondering how to change his android tablet stock browser's user agent i remember some1 posting this tut but couldnt find the post nor remember who it was so i went back to google to search for it and basically we have a hidden debug menu on our browser for exrtra options and features, like user agent changer, now i know alot of ya going to say oh yea i knew about this and good 4 ya remind me to have kelmar or some other mod send u a cookie so please avoide such post im only sharing this for people that didnt know so thanks in return. anyways its very simple on browser type about:debug and press the go arrow and u will notice nothing will happen but now hit the menu button on the bottom corner of ur phone then hit settings scroll down and u shall see new options. i dont know what these other options do but ya can try them out and post back results :D

cool, more stuff to play with
Haha u know it bud ;)
Also wondering if the browser apk could be modified to add more user agent and i dont mean for this phone specificly i mean for android mobile devices in general since metro pcs is blacklisting even android tablet user agent so if we could add metro device user agent code within the user debug option user agent option list that would eliminate the block. also can any1 verify if android browsers are different in each android device like could i swap mine and push it into a android's tablet and expect it to work? probaly not

Is that theme'd swype?
I want it :D
It looks awesome! I've gotten bored of the stock look of swype (I've been using it since zvb came out...)

Lol what the fuzzter said also keep in mind u have to uninstall the factory system swype first with titanium back up it wont allow u to install over it or upgrade so i suggest u back up old swype then uninstall it then install new one ;)

Yeah the Swype apks are a bitch to get right. I usually start at data/apps and if it don't install from there I'll move to system/apps.

It's a finicky little bastard that's for sure. Then sometimes it installs with zero issues.

well for me the prob was trying to figure out why i couldnt upgrade to the aftermarket swype then i figured out the factory one had to be uninstalled first then u just cant uninstall it like a normal app i tried a free app on the market to uninstall system apps but it failed on me twice then i read on google people used titanium back up for stuff like that and it was easy and flawless. so once i got that uninstalled i just installed from sd card with no prob i didnt have to move to /system/data i guess i was lucky lol but yea works great

Yeah usually instead of installing it manually, i just move it to system and let the phone install it on boot.
