Im currently using opera mobile. But its a bit wonky with things. Speed dial settings keep reverting back to opera stock settings,etc.. Want something that works well and is reliable. I used to use miren, but its sorely outdated. Any suggestions?

In my experience, every browser has or has had issues at times and will have them in the future. I've tried many on my phone and tablet including Boat, Opera Mobile, Firefox, Dolphin, Maxthon, Chrome, Skyfire, Ninesky, xScope.

I've been using Firefox Beta (and Aurora) on my tablet and phone. It has its own issues, but is really coming along well through its various, sometimes slow-to-come updates in my opinion. I like it.

I loved Miren before I could use Firefox.

The old Firefox was really slow, but I LOVED the interface. The new one is okay, but I preferred the old way, it does run a lot faster though.

I keep Chrome as a backup (out of habit mostly), and Dolphin for those times I need Flash.

just tried firefox again. same gripes as the last time. it feels clunky. cant find anything. although opera is wishy washy with not refreshing pages automatically and the short term memory speed dial, its browser button panel is well placed. a few others have similar layouts but they all rip off each other so much, you dont know who ripped off who first. miren was the browser of choice, but its went undeveloped for over a year. xscope says its incompatible with the elite. guess its back to opera. maxthon, etc all feel like clones of each other. dolphin the sole exception.

well... gotta split for a few. browser talk was fun and all but its time for the dr. who premier lol later all.

I've been using opera mobile for close to 4 years now and haven't had any speed dial issues thus far.

I also use dolphin as opera forces mobile sites a lot.) =

what happens on my speed dial is the browser keeps readding the default dials to my saved dials. ill delete them, they'll stay gone for a time then show up at random.

I use the stock browser because downloading another browser is too mainstream.

But seriously I just use stock because it works and I feel like having more than 1 of the same type of functioning app just use even more precious resources.

i deleted the elites stock browser. pure worthless crap. i had it on the v stock and just found it unuseable.

I too do not care for the stock Gingerbread browser. I have used the stock browser in ICS and JB (CM9, CM10, ICS Browser+ too) a decent amount on my tablet. They're all alright and fairly reliable for Flash.

yeah i have used the ones from bean and sandwich and much better than gingerbread stock. now ive been tinkering with netfront on the elite, pretty nice actually. surprised it hasnt gotten more useage.

I'm using opera mobile. The default speed dials like facebook, opera portal, etc all can be deleted and replaced with those of your choice. But they come back and load in with what you picked as your choices. You end up having to delete them again.

Tried netfront browser and although it feels sluggish sometimes ,I really like the home page with bookmark tabs. It's worth keeping an eye open for updates.

Try opera mini. That should clear up the speed dial issue.
