The only way I know how to do email reminders with Google Calendar is through the website in "Add reminder" you can choose alarm, text, or e-mail but the actual calendar app on the phone doesnt have that option. Which is crap because Synergy on the Palm Pre is able to. You can set multiple reminders per appointment on the Android, but no email reminder only from the calendar website online.
There is a calendar app, which synchronizes with your google calendar, and is also able to set up email, pop-up and sms reminders. Search the market for Calengoo. Costs a few bucks, but is worth it if you are really fed up with having no email reminders.
